Greek Island Spice

I did a blog a while ago on a wonderful line of products from Greek Island spice that is brought to us from Florida. These sauces, marinades, condiments, and chutneys come in handy for a plethora of reasons. Either you’ve thown in the towel on making your own concoctions and want to use something different, are lazy and like to use prepared products, want a different spin on your dishes, or need a fresh product when crunch time nears and you need something ASAP. Whatever your reasons, you can’t go wrong. All Greek Island items are prepared utilizing the freshest ingredients and are packed in reusable quart containers. Once those folks at Greek Island finish whipping up their wholesome blends, they place them in refrigeration and sent them off to Dole and Bailey land quickly thereafter. Shall we reiterate the word FRESH?

In the last 2 months, we had four very successful roadshows in Maine, NH, and MA. At all shows (as well as the shows coming up in September) guests were able to test pretty much all of the Greek Island items that we carry. Since the show, we are proud to say that our sales have increased dramatically. Do yourself a favor by purchasing a jug. You’ll fall in love with the versatility and the flavor.

703131 RED MISO GLAZE- Miso, tamari, mirin, ginger, garlic, and chilies. Use with tofu, seafood, and Asian dishes.

703133 TAMARIND DIPPING SAUCE- Jamaican hibiscus, sweet and tangy. Great for Asian preparations and salad bases.

703134 MOROCCAN CHERMOULA- Mojo, garlic, spice, olive, caper, and lemon. Used in classic fish, chicken, and lamb and dishes.

703135 MANGO MOJO MARINADE- Citrus, mango, ginger, cilantro, and garlic. Used to marinate chicken, fish, and pork.

703136 MANGO WASABI COULIS- Spicy, sweet mango, and wasabi, great for decorating plates. Best with seafood and chicken.

703137 ROSEMARY COULIS- Roasted rosemary, garlic, herbs, parsley, and balsamic. A satiny smooth, rich green coulis.

763301 FIG AND OLIVE TAPENADE- Ground herbs, olives, spices, and figs. Tastes lovely with goat cheese.

703138 ZHOUG SPICE- With cilantro and chili, it adds green color and heat to sauce, soup, and also dip.

763300 TROPICAL MANGO CHUTNEY- Mango, pepper, onion, citrus, ginger, and Indian spice. Use in a salad or as a salsa.

703132 KENYAN COFFEE BBQ SAUCE- Grand Cru coffee, sweet and spicy. A D&B favorite, perfect for game, poultry, and salmon.
